About Me

Alex Daspit (he/him) is an actor/singer/director who hails from Madison, Wisconsin, but is soon to be based in New York City! Alex graduated with his BFA in Musical Theatre from the Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University in May of 2025.

With humble beginnings as a Waiter in a production of Guys and Dolls his freshman year of high school, Alex has been inseparable from the stage since then. In the following years, he found a love for classical works like Shakespeare in addition to his passion for musical theatre. Some recent favorite credits include Conrade in Much Ado About Nothing with Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Ensemble in Dear Evan Hansen at The Muny, Ricky Potts in Ride the Cyclone with Farmers Alley Theatre, and Ferdinand/Alonso in The Tempest with St. Louis Shakespeare Festival.

Dipping his toes into the world of film, he can also be seen in Penance (Dir. Ross Ramirez) and The Book of Daniel (Dir. Gabe Lobato).

With a proclivity towards directing as well, Alex produced, adapted, and directed a production of Macbeth starring other members of his class at Webster during their fall 2024 semester. Off the stage, he can be found watching movies, listening to music, cooking, or baking bread!
